Dissolving HA filler is a treatment that uses hyaluronidase, an enzyme injected into hyaluronic-acid filler, to break it down. It suits anyone with overfilled, lumpy or migrated filler, a bluish Tyndall effect, or a simple change of heart. Visits take 15–30 minutes with minimal downtime, and filler dissolves within hours to about a day.

Dissolving HA filler corrects results you're not happy with — overfilled or lumpy areas, filler that has migrated, a bluish Tyndall effect, or filler you'd simply like removed.
Smoothing filler that's migrated or over-corrected.
Correcting product that has shifted from its original placement.
A bluish tint from filler placed too superficially.
Simply want previous filler removed.
Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid. Your provider dilutes it in saline and injects it directly into the filler you want reduced or removed. Less cross-linked filler can dissolve in 1–2 hours, while denser, longer-lasting filler may take up to 24 hours. Hyaluronidase only works on hyaluronic acid, so it doesn't affect your natural collagen or non-HA fillers such as Radiesse or Sculptra.
A filler dissolving appointment takes about 15–30 minutes: we assess the filler's location, age and type, inject hyaluronidase into it, and follow up to confirm it has dissolved.
Cost depends on how much filler needs to be dissolved. We'll assess at your consultation — prompt appointments are available.

No — hyaluronidase only breaks down hyaluronic acid. It has no effect on your natural collagen or other filler types like Radiesse or Sculptra.
Many people need only one session. Larger amounts of filler or denser products sometimes need a follow-up treatment, and your provider will check your results and recommend whether another session is needed.
Your provider will usually suggest waiting until any swelling has settled and the old filler has fully dissolved before placing new filler. They'll confirm the right timing for you at your follow-up visit.
For about 24 hours, avoid strenuous exercise and pressing on or massaging the treated area unless your provider tells you to. Mild swelling or redness is normal and usually fades within a few days.
